Axis Fort Worth

Three Blues Clubs

There’s nothing finer than listening to some world-class blues, and fortunately Fort Worth has its share of awesome venues to do exactly that. Here’s a list of three such places you might want to check out when you’re next in the mood for classic blues:

  • Aardvark is considered Fort Worth’s premier live music venue and is located at 2905 West Berry Street. Check out their new patio and enjoy some Bar-B-Que and fixin’s while getting down with some sultry sounds.
  • Flying Saucer is a Fort Worth staple located at 111 E. Fourth Street and delivers music as well as some stellar bratwurst including a Sheboygan side-by-side which is two beer brats on a bun with spicy mustard. Can you say yummy? And you absolutely will not believe their beer selection. Beer, brats and blueswhat could be better?
  • Keys Lounge touts itself as the “coolest” live music venue in Texas and has been around in one form or another for over 30 years offering music, beer, wine, and cocktails. The bands start at 9:30 on Wednesday through Sunday (9:00 on Monday and Tuesday) so you can catch some great tunes seven nights a week. Now that’s pretty awesome. Located at 5677 Westcreek you should make it a point to stop in whenever possible since the lineups are ever changing!

There you have it. Three choices to help you get your fix next time you’re jonesing for a blues rush.
